At this time, I accept Aetna insurance and Key Benefit Administrators (Lee Health).
Many of my clients find that paying out-of-pocket is a great option for people who value maximum privacy, confidentiality and flexibility. My self-pay rate is $125/session and I do accept Health Savings Account cards as a form of payment.
In some cases, I can provide you with a superbill that can be submitted to your insurance company and used as an out-of-network benefit. You will be responsible for paying each session in full at the time of appointment. If interested in using your out-of-network benefits, call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask about out-of-network mental health coverage and what percentage of outpatient psychotherapy sessions are covered. Then, if interested, let me know you would like to receive monthly superbills.

It depends on each individual/family case. Most often you will benefit from more than a session or two but some like to take breaks and come back as needed and others prefer a regularly scheduled appointment. Initially, weekly sessions are preferred by most clients to jumpstart the process of change. We will work together to create the perfect treatment plan for you. My goal is for you to be happy and healthy as quickly as possible!

Whether the idea of coming to the therapy office makes you feel even more anxious than you already are, you live outside of the Fort Myers area, or you simply don’t have time to leave the house for another appointment, online therapy is a great option. You will be given a link to join me in a video call hosted on a HIPAA secure platform via your client portal. Clients who participate in virtual therapy will receive the same support as those who visit me in the office. I specialize in anxiety and perfectionism treatment and will help you learn strategies to find success in managing symptoms, online or in-person!

Effective January 1, 2022, a ruling went into effect called the “No Surprises Act,” which requires mental health practitioners to provide a “Good Faith Estimate” (GFE) about out-of-network care to any patient who is uninsured or who is insured but does not plan to use their insurance benefits to pay for health care items and/or services.
The Good Faith Estimate works to show the cost of items and services that are reasonably expected for your mental health care needs for an item or service. The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created. The Good Faith Estimate does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment.
You are entitled to receive this “Good Faith Estimate” of what the charges could be for psychotherapy services provided to you. While it is not possible for a psychotherapist to know in advance how many psychotherapy sessions may be necessary or appropriate for a given person upon the initiation of psychotherapy, the “Good Faith Estimate” provides an estimate of the cost of services provided. Your total cost of services will depend on the number of psychotherapy sessions attended, your individual circumstances, and the type and amount of services that are provided to you.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for items and services.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For more information or for any questions regarding the Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059
